Dr. Ellen was an incredible human being and remains an inspiration to me. I was President of AAPHP when Dr. Ellen r accepted the role of Vice President in 2012   I recently re-read her email from December 2, resigning from a voting position on our RPL committee for health reasons but being willing to continue to get emails which would allow us to continue to benefit from her wisdom.  I regret that I did not let her know how much I appreciated everything she did. As I search for the right words to say I remember that Dr. Ellen often gave me the words I needed when I was President.  She worked very hard and quietly behind the scenes.
