Gun Violence: What do we know? What can Physicians do?

Join nationally recognized speakers Camara Jones, MD, MPH, PhD and Rex Archer MD, MPH as they speak on what a comprehensive public health response to gun violence might look like and the components of a balanced solution. This will include looking at the social determinants of health including poverty and the social determinants of equity including racism. They will provide guidance for individual physicians and other health care professionals who wish to be part of the solution as they interact with their patients and their communities.  This session will be primarily addressed towards the Orlando community physicians although all are invited to attend.  

This Live activity, Gun Violence: What do we know? What can physicians do?, with a beginning date of 11/11/2016, has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 2.00 Prescribed credits by the American Academy of Family Physicians.  AMA/AAFP Equivalency: AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award.
