be allowed. Medicaid and CHIP regulations are being also delayed by 60 days.

The HIPPA regulations are being delayed because Congress had not been sent a copy of the rules. The CHIP and Medicaid regulations are part of President Bush's "temporary block and review of all late regulations issued by the outgoing Clinton administration."

Montgomery County Health Department is a full service health department with approximately 120 employees and serves a county of 725,000 residents.  The successful applicant will have strong leadership skills, knowledge of public health and communicable disease control, and environmental health. Salary is negotiable.
