Preparing your computer to view material from the MMWR, School of Public Health in North Carolina, the California Distance Learning Center and other online learning opportunities follow these instructions.

To view the new web based video CME presentations such as the CDC Grand Rounds based at the School Of Public Health in North Carolina you will need basic streaming video software such as that provided by RealVideo.  You can download this FREE from RealVideo:.   It will extract and load itself onto your computer.  When you click on the CME program such as the UNC Grand Rounds RealVideo will open up and present the program, without you having to do anything else.

Similarly you will often need to view Adobe File formatted material such as the MMWR or the publications that accompany the Grand Rounds/  You can to go the Adobe site to download the Adobe Acrobat Reader FREE.  Again, when you open the MMWR or other adobe formatted material this program will open and show the written material without any further effort of your part.   All adobe files, when downloaded. will have the suffix of '.pdf' at the end of the file name.
