This is a full time position with benefits.
Primary Duties:
- Assists in the design and implementation of the Quality Assurance Program for Public Health.
- Assists in the development of performance measurement for Public Health Programs (structure, process, guidelines, tools and resources).
- Assists in the development of tracking systems to measure progress by Public Health Programs.
- Participates in the evaluation/measurement of progress.
- Provides technical expertise for the development of electronic reporting and monitoring.
- Provides consultation to Programs, e.g., the development of Program performance measures.
- Conducts quality studies in collaboration with Programs.
- Participates in the development of a Report Card for Public Health Programs.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Desirable qualifications:
- Education: MD, MPH
- Board Certification in Preventive Medicine and Public Health.
- Ability to work with others as part of a team.
- Advanced communication skills to facilitate organizational change
- Knowledge of information technology needed to establish electronic tracking and measurement system.
- Experience in health services research focusing on quality and program/project evaluation.
- Ability to analyze data/information as it relates to measurement of progress.
