Item 1 - Additions to web pages - submitted by Kim Buttery MD MPH.
I have just added web links to some additional useful education sites on our web pages and also in the useful links to medical sites I have added a link to the ACIP statement on Immunization Recommendations for 2000, which include the rationale for the change to IPV for the US. I have also added a link under the medical sites, for the CDC plan to prevent Emerging Infectious Diseases as well as the streaming video presentation. In case you do not have the streaming video player I have placed a link to the site to download Real-Player Plus 7.0 basic, Free. Try it, you may like it. You will need this download if you want to watch the Preventive Medicine grand rounds which will be available next Friday. Use the Grand Round link in the educational section of useful links.

Remember that I will not know all the good sites that would be useful to our members, students of public health, and potential members visiting our site. To keep it improving please send me the links to any useful sites you find, so I can share them with our members and visitors. About 20% of the current sites have been contributed by members.
